Our Story- Culinary Journey

HomeChef Cooking School was established in 1970 by Judith Ets-Hokins, a passionate homechef and an expert home entertainer.  Judith followed her passion and created a chain of culinary boutiques combining retail appliance sales with hands-on cooking instruction.

 At HomeChef Cooking School you will find everything you need to know about cooking, including information on kitchen appliances and ingredients, the preparation of poultry and vegetable; before they are cooked; food terms, methods and techniques, and classic recipes voted easiest and best from our students-from the simplest soup stocks to the most elaborate pastries or h’orderves.

With an array of class selections, HOMECHEF offers the novice or seasoned home cook (non-professional) the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the culinary field.
